Gillian
Trustee
Gillian worked for the NHS for 36 years as a paediatric Speech and Language Therapist and an NHS Manager.
In her retirement Gillian volunteers as a Bereavement Visitor for the local Hospice and a Samaritan listener.
Gillian also spent time as a Branch secretary for the Samaritans, a Trustee for 6 years, and a shift leader and a mentor for new Samaritans. On the Samaritans phones Gillian would often speak to prisoners, sometimes about what will happen after their release. Gillian had heard about Unrebel from Jo and Sam, so when asked to be a Trustee, felt it was an important cause, run by passionate people and something very much worth supporting.
