Unrebel Housing Privacy Policy

We respect the EU’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and this policy explains how we collect and treat any information you give us. We hope you won’t find any complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text It’s all intended to simply describe our process.

Why we value your privacy: We value your privacy as much as we do our own, so we’re committed to keeping your personal and business information safe. We’re uncomfortable with the information companies, governments, and other organisations keep on file, so we ask for only the bare minimum from our customers.

We’ll never use your personal information for any reason other than why you gave it, and we’ll never give anyone access to it unless we’re forced to by law.

How we collect information: We ask for contact information including your name, email address, and phone number, on our website so that we can reply to your enquiry. Our website doesn’t use cookies or scripts that are designed to track the websites you visit. We collect your email address when you sign up for one of our newsletters and we ask for your contact information when you buy something from us.

At Unrebel Housing, we follow the seven principles of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) to ensure your information is handled responsibly and securely.

Here’s what you can expect from us:

We only process your personal data when we have a clear legal reason to do so. We will always explain what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it will be used.

2. Purpose Limitation
We collect your data only for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes related to our work—such as support, rehabilitation, safeguarding, and employment support for ex-offenders. We do not use your data for unrelated reasons.

3. Data Minimisation
We only collect data that is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for our services. This is especially important for sensitive information like criminal records and risk assessments.

4. Accuracy
We take reasonable steps to keep your data accurate and up to date. If you inform us of any inaccuracies, we will correct them promptly.

5. Storage Limitation
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes we collected it. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise your information.

6. Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data against unauthorised or unlawful access, loss, destruction, or damage. This includes both technical and organisational measures.

7. Accountability
We can demonstrate our compliance with data protection laws and this policy. We keep records of our data processing activities and regularly review our practices.
